Here is a consolidated list of best cryptocurrency exchanges with my comments:

CoinBase: A regulated exchange which has a license in the USA.

Binance: Offers mobile app and probably the fastest growing exchange. If you need to pick only one, this is the best and 1 in 2019.

Bitmex: Very popular with high volume. Idle for margin trading.

CoinMama: Old but gold and let you buy BTC and ETH instantly.

OkEx: A reliable exchange which are listing many top projects. Also, have a native token like BNB and doing a lot of IEOs.

KuCoin: One of the strongest exchange that also offers a mobile app (Android and iOS). A lot of exciting features including Margin trading, Exchange coin (KCS) and many more. They have been constantly updating their mobile app to make it one of the best in the industry.

Bittrex: Another high-quality exchange with a lot of coins

Changelly: Instantly convert any cryptocurrency to any of your choices. Great for instant conversion

Slowly and steadily,Bitcoinand altcoins are getting attention from more investors all around the world.

And why not? These cryptocurrencies are time and again proving themselves to be a safe haven against the governments inflationary policies.

Thats why some people are evenearning interest on crypto, while some are doing pure speculation with short-term trading (i.e. buy low, sell high).

And lets not forget about those who are just starting off by looking around to find the answer to questions like:

But before we talk about the best exchanges out there, I need to tell you that its not too late to get invested in cryptocurrencies. At the time of this writing, the Bitcoin and altcoin market is at anall-time high, with a market cap of $166 billion. I believe we will cross the $250 billion mark later this year.

So now that you know youshouldinvest, heres where you need to go to do that.

Note:This list is starting from easy to use exchanges and moving towards some of the advanced exchanges.

Binanceis a rapidly growing exchange that concluded its ICO on 21st July 2017 and raised 15,000,000 USD. The company is registered in Malta which is the crypto heaven and offers a blazing fast exchange.

Since its ICO to till date, it has grown tremendously and is now placed in top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. It now has more than 190 altcoins listed on it which are only increasing as the days are passing.

Binance being a centralized exchange has taken a unique take to expand its business and also provides a decent discount for day traders if they use BNB coins.BNB is Binance Coin which is the native currency of this platform.

Read:Binance Review: Features, Fees in 2019 (Beginners Guide)

Binances fee structure is also unique. To start with they have 0.1% standard trading fee which is already quite less than other peers. You can even reduce your fee furtherif you pay your trading fee in BNB according to the below-shown structure.

To get started with Binance you need toregister using your email IDand the process is quite simple & fast. Binance is one of the few exchanges that offers mobile app for iOS and Android.

Being using it for a while, I find it too easy to trade cryptocurrency while on the move. You canwatch this video to learn how to use their mobile app.

They also have aggressive plans like multi-lingual support, mobile apps for both iOS and Android users,Binance Angel Program, and theCommunity Coin Per Monthetc for more adoption of their platform.

BitMexis high volume crypto exchange created by a talented team of economists, high-frequency traders and web developers for the crypto community.

Here you will never find any issues regarding the liquidity of your cryptocurrencies.

The primary currency traded on this exchange is Bitcoin and its future contracts.

Apart from Bitcoin contracts, one can also play around with future contracts for altcoins such as Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum,Cardano, Litecoin, Ripple.

The registration process on BitMex is quite simple where you just need to register through your email ID and their fee structure is also quite straightforward as shown below:

KuCoinis another easy and hassle-free cryptocurrency exchange. KuCoin offers many popular and unique coin such as DragonChain, $KCS, and many others. Just like Binance, they offer a fully functional mobile app for Android and iOS.

To get started with KuCoin, you can deposit any crypto of your choice ex: BTC and start trading. Personally, I have been using KuCoin since last quarter of 2017 and they are getting popular day by day.

Changellyis one of the easiest ways to get ahold of various cryptocurrencies.

Changelly has a proven track record of consistently good products being put out into the crypto-space.

One of the best things about Changelly is that you dont need to go through any lengthy verification or registration process. You just log in with your email ID (or any email ID) and start exchanging!

Currently, it supports more than 35 cryptocurrencies along with fiat pairs such as USD/EUR. It is one of the best and easiest to use exchanges out there. If you want to know more, check out Harshsreview on Changelly.

When you use Changelly to exchange cryptocurrency, Changelly botsconnect in real timeto some of the best and busiest cryptocurrency exchanges in the market to get you the best price.

Usually, when using Changelly, a crypto-to-crypto exchange takes 5 to 30 minutes.

They charge acommission fee of 0.5%on each trade, which I think is minimal in exchange for the volatility and risk that they bear on behalf of their users. In addition to the commission, a miners fee is also paid by the user and is deducted directly from their crypto balance.

But all you need in order to buy from Changelly is aVISA/MasterCard (credit/debit card) or any Changelly-supported cryptocurrency and a wallet where you want to receive your new coins.

Head towardChangelly, and follow the steps given in thisguide.

Note:Though this guide shows how to buy Ripple in exchange for BTC, the process is exactly the same to buy any other Changelly-supported cryptocurrency.

And if you want to buy cryptos using a VISA/MasterCard, then here is their officialstep-by-step guide on doing that.(Even though this guide is for buying BTC using a VISA/MasterCard, the process is the same as buying any other Changelly-supported cryptocurrency.)

Huobi Prois an internationalcryptocurrency exchangethat originated in China but now has moved across the world to serve a maximum number of investors. It is based out of Singapore and has been operating in this space successfully for the last five years.

As we speak, it occupies the 3 spot on CoinMarketCaps list of exchanges by volume and has 244 cryptocurrency pairs. Hence, needless to say, of this, you will never face liquidity problems on this exchange.

They also have mobile apps for bothAndroidandiOSfor users who want to trade cryptos on the go.

Theirregistration processis also pretty simple and straightforward, so go ahead and do the needful. Oh, and just so you know, the exchange fee is also pretty low. Have fun.

Bittrexis aUS-based cryptocurrency exchange that provides you the option to trade more than 190 cryptocurrencies at a time. They are well-regulated and compliant with all of the current US rules, so crypto users need not worry about the safety of their funds.

Bittrex handles one of the largest BTC trading volumes out of all the exchanges in the world.

Here, the users (buyers/sellers) decide the rates in which they want to trade, and Bittrex charges them a small service fee for providing this platform (0.25%).

To get started with Bittrex, you need to register and log in through your email ID, but to withdraw funds, you need to do a KYC by submitting your ID documents and phone number, as well as enabling two-factor authentication for higher limits.

But one good thing about Bittrex is the account verification happens quite fast.

Bittrex is a crypto-only exchange, meaning it doesnt allow you to deposit fiat currencies such as USD, EUR, GBP, etc.

They provide access to advanced trading tools like candlestick charts and crosshairs, but the user interface is quite clean and intuitive, so newbies should have no problems.

You can visit Bittrex and open a Bittrex accountby followingthis official step by step guide here.

Founded byTristan DAgosta, Poloniex has been operational since January 2014 and is undoubtedly one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world.

It is based out of the United States and offers +100 cryptocurrencies to its users to trade.

When you talk about trade volumes, nothing beats Poloniex. In 2017, Poloniexhad the highest volume for ETHbecause it supports an independent Ethereum market as well as a BTC market.

It is a crypto-only exchange, but you can start trading easily by depositing USDT (Tether dollars).

Poloniex also has zoomable candlestick charts for 5-minutes, 15-minutes, 30-minutes, 2-hours, 4-hours, and 1-day, along with a stop-limit feature for advanced cryptocurrency traders.

Poloniex charges a fee of0.15% to 0.25% on all trades depending upon whether you are a maker or a taker.

So if you are looking to trade a variety of altcoins, then you should give Poloniex a shot.

To get started with Poloniex, follow thisofficial guide.

Remember: As soon as you sign up for Poloniex using your email,do make sure to enable two-factor authentication!

Bitfinex is another one of the largest and most popular cryptocurrency exchanges out there.

Based out of Hong Kong and operational since 2014, it gives its users the option to trade the following 13 cryptocurrencies in exchange for USD or BTC:

Update:They have added a lot more cryptos recently.

Unlike Bittrex and Poloniex, you can trade using USD (with a wire fee of at least $20). Also, users will need to pay a trade fee which varies from 0.1% to 0.8% (details here).

Also, whenever you withdrawal or deposit anything, you are charged a certain fee:

On Bitfinex, if you are a pro-trader, you will find advanced trading tools such aslimit orders, stop orders, trailing stop, fill or kill, TWAP,and others, along with different market charts.

To get started on Bitfinex, you need toregisterverify your ID, andauthenticateyourself. It typically takes 15-20 business days aftersubmitting valid ID proof before youre accepted into the platform.

And whenever you get bored with the web version or want to trade on-the-go, you can use BitfinexsAndroidandiOSmobile apps.

Using the above cryptocurrency exchanges will allow you to buy almost all of the cryptos you could ever want to buy.

However, there are a few morecryptocurrency exchangesthat you should have an account with, as there are a few coins that are only available there. Its a good idea to have an account on most of these, which will save time when you discover a winning coin.

I will update this post as I find other trustable and feature-rich cryptocurrency exchanges. For now, you can considerjoining our Telegram channelto stay updated with all thelatest info.

I hope these insights help you in choosing the best cryptocurrency exchange for you to use.

If you are storing cryptocurrencies on these exchanges for a few hours or even a few days for the sake of trading, then its probably OK. Otherwise, this is a bad practice.

Large-scale hacks likeMt. Goxcan happen at any time. I would strongly recommend you to use theLedger Nano Sor a wallet likeAtomic, where you can store a lot of different cryptos and control your private keys.

So now its your turn to tell me:Which one of these exchanges do you like the best? Also, whats another great exchange that I havent listed here? Let me hear your thoughts in the comments below!

There are a few exchanges which are regulated. For example,CoinbaseCEXCoinmamaare regulated.

As mentioned above, here are the best crypto exchanges:BinanceBitmexCoinBaseOkexCEXCoinmamaKuCoinBittrexChangelly

Normally they ask for the mobile number and other national IDs such as Aadhar/PAN/DL etc.

is there any exchange where we can trade more than 50 cryptocurrencies in exchange of USD?

Not yet. As of now, Bitfinex supports 17 cryptos with USD pair.

Apart from that, you can trade in USDT though for more than 50 currencies on Poloniex and Bittrex.

Hi. which exchange platform is good in the United States?

Kraken(INterface is not as friendly as it used to be)

Nice list Sudhir. I was wondering if you have any or know of any areas on the web that show a compiled list of all of the cryptocurrency exchanges that exist?

Nope not in my knowledge but we will be soon compiling a list with important details on coinsutra.

my question is ,if we want to add a new crypto coin to exchanges ,for that every exchnage will charge ,so i am asking if we have 3 bitcoins,so how many exchanges we can get with that 3 bitcoin to list the new coin in exchanges

What are your thoughts about Coinbase? Ive used them for sometime for Bitcoin and Eth.

They good but serve in limited countries. Not good for buying altcoins as they dont have many.

Which exchange leaves the least amount of crumbles ? I notice that Binance is taking a lot of them.

And in Bittrex you cannot always sell the exact amount that you bought.

Those crumbles are left because of the various buy/sell prices and amount ratio.

Hi! Thanks for the excellent post! Can you advise the best exchange for trading with New Zealand?

As you said, Dont use these exchanges as a wallet to HODL your cryptos.

Do you suggest any as a wallet that we can use with trust & ease ?

Hardware wallets are the safest and the one that I use isLedger Nano S.

If you are holding a small amoount of cryptos like less than $300 or so, then you can use a mobile wallet such as coinomi, Mycelium and others.

Nothing can I do about it even if I want toMight contact them through Twitter!

(1) Fastest processing times and not pending messages, in other words hassle free in terms of transaction waiting times ?

(2) ease of exchange, crypto coins to hard currencies ($, pound etc) ?

Would you recommend to keep the currencies in these exchanges or move them to any wallets for security reson. How much wuld you trust the exchanges like Coindelta & Koinex on long term horizon to keep you currencies?

We dont trust any exchange for holding cryptos.

We leave it there max for 1-2 days with an assumption that we will be lucky

Blockchain and Coinbase is blocked in UAE , so if i want to trade whats the best way?

If i m going to travel to another country very soon, then i can invest thru Blockchain or Coinbase and transfer my coins to any available worldwide exchange, will i be able to trade it in UAE thru these exchanges that you advice?

Yes, you can use any of the listed exchange to start trading from any part of the world.

I am a NRI based in Bahrain in Middle East. Can you kindly advise the best exchanges to buy Crypto which will also enable me to transfer them smoothly to another exchange where i can buy Altcoins?

Also, can you i use my India NRE Account for buying and withdrawal?

You can use above list all exchanges I believe-ChangellyBittrex, andBinanceare good to start with as they have almost all top currencies.

For Withdrawals in INR use CoinSecure or Zebpay to convert your BTC to INR and then directly into your account.

i am in nigeria, africa, what platforms would you suggest i use for exchange and trading, and what wallet is best for storing cryptos in africa.. thanks

You should use Changelly if you are using it for the first time.

Grow your comfort level from there to Bittrex and Binance. (You should register and make account on both because you never know when they stop taking new registrations).

Wallets- I prefer Ledger Nano S, Trezor, Exodus and Coinomi wallets for most currencies. You will not find a wallet that supports all currencies.

How can I store my coins? For example if I have 100 Ripple that I bought from Binance and wont sell it for at least two years. What should I do and if i want to store it in a very save place, how and what place? Thank you!

You can buy a Hardware wallet. Storing for years on any exchange is not recommended from us.

Binance seems to become very popular. I registered an account there yesterday and will check it out.

What is the best way to store less popular cryptos? I have a Nano Ledger S but it only supports so many cryptos

I dont want to use my phone for anything crypto related as I see it as being unsafe.

Are there other hardware wallets which support different/more cryptos?

Or what about software wallets (on PC)? Are they safe enough?

Coinomi Mobile wallet, Exodus Desktop Wallet, MyEtherWallet, Ledger Nano S should be good for you. No wallet supports all cryptos!!

I am aware that there is no wallet that supports all (unfortunately).

How to cash out in pounds if I want to sell my Bit coins or Ripple?

Thanks for your article. Can you advise on how to by crypto by using Pay Pal by chance?

@Ajinkya This post will help you get started in Bitcoins

Also you need to buy BTC from Indian exchanges and then send that BTC on Binance to buy altcoins.

how to do this Also you need to buy BTC from Indian exchanges and then send that BTC on Binance to buy altcoins.

Hi, I have read your article and would like to start trading in cryptocurrencies, but I have a few questions please.

From all the points about not holding coins in a wallet are you suggesting buy and selling in short periods, days or weeks rather than holding on to them

Which is the best trading platform without having to provide large amounts of validation details to trade.

BinanceandKuCoinare good to start if you have BTC already. If you dont have the Buy it fromCEX.io, the UK based trusted exchange.

A wallet is always recommended for long term hold.

Thanks Sudhir, I want to trade in my different currencies, not just Bit Coins but CEX.io is currently closed to new registration, any other suggestion

Bitflyer is very legit. I from the States and have been using it to enter the market for a couple months and it has worked perfectly. An upvote foe Kucoin too so far so good, but Binance is king in my book.

Please forgive the typos, Im on my IPad mini big fingers. 🙂

helloIm from Nigeria which exchange platform is good in Nigeria

Hi! What trading site would you prefer BitMax or Kucoin?

Both are good. Some coins you wont find on Kucoin and some you wont find on Cryptopia. So I will use both if I am in your place.

Hi! Thanks for the excellent post! Can you advise the best exchange for trading with The US?

Great article. Im from Canada, Im new to cryptocurrencies, Im looking to buy IOTA with USD or CAD and I dont want to put 10000USD to open an account. Do you have any idea about which platform would be the best for me.

Buy BTC from a trusted source/exchange in Canada then send that BTC to Binance and exchange it for IOTA.

I am looking for an exchange that offers Zilliqa (ZIL). It appears that only Gate.io offers this coin and I am considering opening an account with them.

I have come across a number of negative reviews calling Gate.io a scam and people losing or not able to withdraw their funds.

Do you have updated info on Gate.io? Do you have first hand experience with them? What is your opinion?

Gate.io is going well for us. We heard scam noise regarding Gatehub, not Gate. Still, if you have some weblink you can share for a scrutiny.

Do you have any thoughts or comments on using eToro for trading ripples?

He I am using Etoro, but both Etoro,Plus500, Avatrade are CFD s brokers, that means that you speculate in some of their owned crypto currencies, but you don t own these coins. But What Mr. Khatwani has published above, are real crypto exchanges that you may but a real crypto coins from them.

Be sure to know the difference between CFD s brokers or real crypto coins/tokens brokers.

Binance is good while I am being indifferent about bittrex because of their verification process. I have been trying to enhance my verification process for a long time even when my documents are legible, the system continues to show error messages.

Great article. I am new to cryptos. I have registered myself in Binance but it does not allow to deposit in EUR. I am located in Germany. I also heard that Binance is not registered in Germany so withdraw will be a challenge. how can i move further in this.

1) Can you suggest a good wallet to store currencies?

2) Can you suggest some video or website to learn about trading (i can look myself in google, but getting a suggestion from an expert like you, would be beneficial?

Binance doesnt support any Fiat currencies yet.

1)Ledger Nano Sis the best option if you plan to hold currencies for a longer term.

2) We dont trade. We believe in fundamental analysis and hold good coins until they acquire a fair market share.

I saw that only in bitfinex is able to trade crypto currency for fiat.

Is there any other exchange that allow to trade crypro for fiat money?

Could you suggest any exchange that is trading also in EUR?

For EURCEX.iois good, also allows credit card buying.

Im new to cryptocurrencies, Im looking to buy IOTA with USD or CAD and I dont want to put 10000USD to open an account. Your Cryptocurrency exchange point is impressed me but I cant understand your Second point (Binance) I think it is too risky. Do you have any idea about which platform would be the best for me.

Recently lots of buzz going around regarding cryptocurrencies. It appears in the budget statement of FM.

Also, read in the newspaper that it is not legal but it is not illegal as well.

So what would be your advice, if I want to invest in cryptocurrency?

(1) Which exchange would be the best for me? I would prefer an exchange that provides multiple currencies and has minimum of 1 lakh, active traders?

(2) is it possible to buy from an exhange. Then hold for the long term. And then sell it on another exchange?

1)ThisandThistutorial can help you out. There are many good options in India.

im in Canada and i want to trade a wide variety of cryptos, which one do you think is the best option?

Binance and OkEx. It is always good and suggested that you diversify not only your cryptos but all the exchanges you are using.

i trade on binance and as of today china has banned all crypto-related exchanges .so could you tell what will happen to binance . is it to stay?

Im from eastern Europe exactly from Montenegro and I want to buy some bit coin but I can do it thro my bank , what webssite will work for me ?

Did you tryCEX.io, a UK based exchange? You can buy quickly using a credit card.

I am new to cryptocurrency. Could let me know which exchange might be the better exchange to buy bitcoin & ethereum from here, and that will further allow me to withdraw later on, back in USD changelly ?

I was triying to open an account with Bitfinex, but now no usa residence can open an account, what the best trading plataform that i can have usd , and trade dash , ripple, etc?

You should buy BTC from any exchange from USA like CoinBase, Kraken or similar.

Transfer these Bitcoins to Binance or Bittrex and start trading.

Will you tell me which exchange is accepting wire transfer to buy crypto currency in the world exchange (ignore Indian Exchanges). I am from India where can I deposit from my bank account to their account and buy cryptos.

(Indian Exchanges are are taking 3 to 4 days for accepting deposits and also for withdrawals)

No such exchange accepting fiat from India. However, you can trycex.ioto purchase via credit/debit cards.

Hi Im from England and am quite new to cryptocurrencies. Which exchange would you nrecommend? is Tresor or Ledger Nano S the best wallet for me as Im interested in trading too.

Yeah both the wallets are great and we use both and preferLedger Nano S

Thank you very much for your reply, thats very helpful. why do you prefer the Ledger Nano S. The reason I was going to go for Trezor was that I have a friend who can reliably get it from the source directly. also, can you please recommend a reliable source where I can purchase the Ledger Nano S from please. Thanks again

Ledger Nano S offers support for more cryptos including all ERC20 token.I would suggest you to buy itfrom the official website here.

Good morning, until I pourchase a hardware wallet. i wanted to trade some smaller alt currencies on upto a value of 200.

Which software wallet can you recommend in the interim.

Exodus Coinomi, but software wallets not recommended for long-term usage.

hi , a great info above, Can U plz tell me about Yobit exchange .

Hi, I live in the US and bought 2 BTC last week at Coinbase on Mar 15 and havent seen the Bitcoins appear in my wallet yet (today is 20th Mar). Even after providing personal details and being promised to buy/sell instantly I dont seen that happening any time soon. And to top it all they charged me 1.49% in fees (can provide screenshots of the transactions).

1. Why does it take so long to buy or sell crytocurrencies?

2. Which exchange offers the fastest buy/sell experience with the least amount of fees, I am so frustrated by this delay.

3. Which exchanges offers the best sell experience and withdrawing the funds back to my bank account? I wouldnt mind throwing a few bucks at them for providing a smooth user experience.

4. Can you start a whatsapp group and share tips/guidance and insight into the crypto world?

2. TryCex.ioorChangellyand buy using credit/debit cards

3. If you are in the US you need to sell it to Coinbase or Square or LocalBitcoins is the fastest.

Hello, I live in the US. I have a lot of BTC in JAXX and I want to sell it and transfer the money into my bank account. Can I transfer the BTC to Binance or Changelly and then sell the BTC for USD and then transfer the USD from Binance or Changelly to my bank account? I want to use an exchange that has very little registration work needed and is simple to use. Thank you so much!

First, things first, when you deal in fiat currencies registration works are needed, you cant avoid it.

Pls choose one of these exchanges and you should be good to get your fiat for BTC-

Very nice presentation about those crypto currenciesexchanges.

But I am very confused and not sure who to trust in this crypto world. After reading many comments and news, I found out that most of these brokers are not safe to buy crypto positions from. I live in Norway and I would ask you kindly to advice me which broker I should be able to buy crypto positions from. I signed up with Binance for one week ago, but still did not get any verification yet from them.

You might want to tryChangellyorBittrexfor now.

I make use of Bittrex to buy all my altcoins because i also trade with them fulltime
